Okta is seeking a skilled and experienced Paid Search Marketing Manager with exceptional Martech integration skills to join our Global Digital Acquisition Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our paid search campaigns while leveraging marketing technology to drive quality leads and pipeline for sales globally. Your expertise in paid search advertising, data analysis, and Martech integration will be instrumental in maximizing our digital marketing efforts and achieving our business goals.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive paid search strategies across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads) to drive targeted traffic, conversions, and revenue.
  2. Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation to identify optimal targeting opportunities for paid search campaigns.
  3. Create and optimize compelling ad copy to improve click-through rates (CTRs) and conversion rates.
  4. Continuously monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to improve key metrics such as click-through rate, conversion rate, cost per acquisition, and return on ad spend.
  5. Collaborate with Marketing Operations and the Digital Analytics team to ensure integration with all analytics and marketing tools including Marketo, Datorama and others.
  6. Stay up to date with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging paid search marketing techniques to ensure our campaigns remain competitive and effective.
  7. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and scalability in paid search marketing activities to increase efficiency and productivity.
  8. Conduct A/B tests and implement optimization strategies to improve campaign performance and user experience.
  9. Provide regular reports on campaign performance, including key metrics, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  10. Stay informed about Martech advancements, evaluate new tools and technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation to enhance our paid search marketing efforts.

Qualifications

  1. BA or BS in Marketing, Business, Economics or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  2. 3-5 years of experience managing full journey of paid search campaigns, media planning and measurement
  3. Experience with prospecting, retargeting, audience segmentation and lead generation
  4. Proven experience as a Paid Search Marketing Manager, preferably in an agency or fast-paced digital marketing environment.
  5. In-depth knowledge of paid search advertising platforms, including Google Ads and Bing Ads, and a strong understanding of campaign setup, management, and optimization techniques.
  6. Proficiency in leveraging marketing technology tools, such as CRM systems (Salesforce), marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Eloqua), and analytics tools (Google Analytics, GTM or equivalent), to enhance paid search campaigns and track performance.
  7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  8. Excellent understanding of keyword research, audience targeting, and campaign optimization strategies.
  9. Solid understanding of SEO principles and their integration with paid search marketing efforts.
  10. Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  11. Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
  12. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  13. B2B marketing experience a strong plus

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$122,000—$165,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $135,000—$182,000 USD
